ECSE (Effective Communication in Social Environment) is an Erasmus+ project launched in March 2023 and concluded in 2025.

 

It involved two partner organizations:

• Associazione ESPRÉ (France)

• Casa Santa Rosa (Italy)

 

Both organizations work to support people with disabilities and special educational needs.

 

The project stems from the desire to share experiences and develop useful tools to promote more effective communication in educational, social, and healthcare settings.

Objectives

 

ECSE promoted the exchange of expertise among partners to develop practical tools for professional communication.

 

During the project, the following were developed:

​

• shared guidelines;

• a self-assessment questionnaire;

• online training videos;

• training and dissemination events in Italy and France.

 

The materials produced were published online to facilitate their use by other organizations and professionals in the sector.

Communication as Care
​
The experience gained during ECSE has given rise to Communication as Care, a web app developed by Casa Santa Rosa that collects and reworks the project's content into a practical tool for training and self-learning on effective communication in helping relationships.
